ситуация с японским рынком

Недавно японская фирма через японского посредника купила у меня продукт (оплатив пейпалом). Спросил посредника - а что мол фирма напрямую у меня не могла купить? Ответили:

Many Japanese companies do not allow their workers to use their personal/business credit cards for procurement. In addition, many of them have internal restrictions on procurement, and it prolongs budget approval process in case items are purchased outside Japan. Lastly, many of them do not have bank accounts for foreign currencies, and do not wish to have one as it's costly. That's why we often take care of purchases on customers behalf and issue our quotations and invoices in Japanese yen to ease customers purchases.

Regarding language, your shopping cart showed everything in Japanese so it was easy for most people to understand, we guess. However, many would give up proceeding further when they see no Japanese in the website at the first site. When the product name is searched and showed in Japanese on the web, that will somewhat relieve customers language stress.
